Jaclynn is a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC) in the State of Michigan who brings warmth, compassion, and a solution-focused mindset to her work with adolescents and adults. With a background in both school and clinical counseling, she is committed to helping individuals build emotional strength, develop coping skills, and live with greater purpose and resilience.
Education & Counseling Foundations
Jaclynn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University before going on to complete her Master of Arts in Counseling at Oakland University, where she specialized in School Counseling. Her training prepared her to support individuals academically, socially, and emotionally, with a focus on developmentally appropriate, evidence-based practices.
She completed her graduate internship at West Bloomfield High School and West Bloomfield Middle School, where she provided short-term, solution-focused counseling and support to students navigating academic stress, peer relationships, anxiety, grief, and personal identity. Following her internship, Jaclynn was invited to remain on staff at West Bloomfield High School, where she deepened her work with adolescents and became known for her calm presence and collaborative spirit.
Clinical Experience
While working in the school setting, Jaclynn also began practicing as a therapist at Abaris Great Lakes Counseling, offering therapy to both adolescents and adults. There, she expanded her clinical skills and supported clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties.
For the past five years, Jaclynn has served as a therapist at Radiate Counseling, where she works with teens and adults across a range of mental health concerns including:
- OCD
- Depression and mood disorders
- Generalized and social anxiety
- Grief and loss
- Stress and academic pressure
Jaclynn primarily uses Brief Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention modalities, while integrating elements of mindfulness, psychoeducation, and strengths-based approaches to fit the unique needs of each client. She is passionate about creating an open, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.
She believes therapy should be a collaborative process, and she often works alongside families, school personnel, and other professionals to create consistent, well-rounded support systems—especially for adolescent clients.
Counseling Philosophy
At the heart of Jaclynn’s approach is her belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. She helps clients access their inner strengths and build tools that enable them to face life’s challenges with courage and confidence. Whether working with a teen navigating peer pressure or an adult dealing with grief, Jaclynn brings a steady, compassionate presence that encourages lasting change.
Personal Life
Jaclynn is a woman of deep faith and draws from her spiritual foundation to guide her work and her life. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and values moments of connection, reflection, and joy in both her personal and professional world.
